Is there a point to performance?

Now, I'm a major lover of performance. I see a Ferrari, and I'm on the brink of drooling, same as most other guys would be. I know the names of most major brands, and a couple that aren't so common.

Party in the USA

Preperations for The Red River

The Red River is rising, and people, like this man, are taking precautions. Shouldn't we be helping these people? If this goes bad, this is going to cost taxpayers a lot of money.
